Stay Another Day repeats most of its message designs — “988,” “Be Kind To Your Mind,” “You Are Loved” — across four garment types: t-shirt, long sleeve, crewneck, hoodie. It’s tempting to assume a design’s sizing is consistent across those four versions. It isn’t, because each garment type is printed on a different blank with its own size run:

Take the 988 design as the clearest example, since it’s sold as all four types: the 988 Screen Printed Hoodie and 988 Screen Printed Crewneck are both listed “Available from Small thru 5x.” The 988 Screen Printed T-shirt is listed “Available from Small thru 4x.” The 988 Screen Printed Long Sleeve stops at 3x. Same artwork, same brand, three different size ceilings — because each is a different blank.
What this means practically: if you or the person you’re buying for wears above 3XL, look at the hoodie and crewneck versions of a design first. The t-shirt and long sleeve versions of that exact same design may simply not exist in that size.
The two blanks, and what each one tells you about fit

Comfort Colors is a garment-dyed, 100% ring-spun cotton line, which behaves differently from a plain printed tee: it’s pre-shrunk during dyeing and has a slightly looser, broken-in feel out of the bag, not a tight retail-fresh cut. Order your usual size for the relaxed fit the brand describes; there’s no “size up” instruction attached to it.
Gildan Heavyweight Fleece (hoodies and crewnecks). These listings carry no fit adjective at all — no “relaxed,” no “oversized,” nothing. Gildan Heavy Blend fleece is a standard mid-weight 50/50 cotton-polyester construction, the same blank used across a huge share of the printed-apparel industry — familiar, true-to-size-leaning, not a boxy streetwear cut. If you’ve worn a mainstream Gildan hoodie before, you already know roughly how this one will sit.
Neither blank is unusual or risky to order in your normal size. The thing to plan around isn’t fit — it’s which one actually stocks the size you need.
Unisex sizing, and what that means here
75 of the 97 adult styles are explicitly labeled unisex. Stay Another Day doesn’t publish separate women’s-cut sizing at all — every hoodie, crewneck, tee and long sleeve in this catalog is built on the same straight, unisex block. Comfort Colors and Gildan fabric specs referenced here are the manufacturers’ published data for those blank lines, not Stay Another Day’s own figures — the brand does not publish its own weight or measurement data.
